As part of Universcènes, the Foreign Language Theatre Festival at Université Toulouse – Jean Jaurès, the English-language theatre company Les Sœurs Fatales entrusted Céline Nogueira and Innocentia Inviolata with the artistic direction of fourteen productions.

These productions include works from

• the modern American repertoire, such as Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, Susan Glaspell’s The People, and plays by Sam Shepard;
• the British repertoire, including David Farr’s The UN Inspector and Christopher Hampton’s The Talking Cure;
• the Canadian repertoire, with works by Ann-Marie MacDonald;
• the Scottish repertoire, including David Greig’s Dunsinane;
• as well as Shakespearean classics such as Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and Macbeth.

Céline Nogueira also wrote two adaptations: pa.tri.ar.chy, based on Sophie Treadwell’s Machinal, and Stand Up for Bastards!, inspired by Shakespeare’s tyrannical figures.

She also directed the Portuguese theatre company Brastugas in Todos o Nenhum by João Menino Vargas.

These productions have been performed in France at Théâtre des Mazades, CIAM – La Fabrique, Théâtre Sorano, MAC Chapou (Toulouse), and La Gare aux Artistes (Montrabé), as well as internationally at the RITU Festival in Liège, Belgium, and in Tangier, Morocco.

In 2023, Hamlet received the Best Actor Award at the Tangier International University Theatre Festival.
