Dancer’s calling : the documentary (FULL)
James Carlès, choreographer and general director of the European Centre choreographique James Carlès in Toulouse invited Céline Nogueira in 2014 to caoch the dancers of his piece Coupé Décalé, on va gâter le coin ! in their Belgian tour.
Since then, he has entrusted her with the teaching of the dramatic arts at the Center, along with the creation of the yearly dance-theatre creation- an original transformative piece divised specifically from and for the students. The objective of each creation is to allow the students to experience artistic and acting tools while emancipating as young artists.
The Centre chorégraphique James Carlès was also partner of the American Theatre Project produced by Innocentia Inviolata in 2016 and our social project “Danse-Foot : rencontre des genres” in 2024.
Since 2015, Céline Nogueira has been writing and directing the dance-theatre pieces for the graduating students of the Centre chorégraphique James Carlès.
