The Lucid Body
In 2012, Céline Nogueira introduced in France the Lucid Body technique developed by New York choreographer Fay Simpson, translating her reference book The Lucid Body: A Guide for the Physical Actor, and co-directing her workshops in France.
In 2016, Fay Simpson is the invited guest of the American Theatre Project, our program on American realism on stage and onscreen.

In partnership with the Lucid Body Center since 2012 as part of its European tours, Innocentia Inviolata organizes intensive workshops for both actors and non-actors with Fay Simpson and Céline Nogueira — Lucid Body & Contact.
These workshops blend the original techniques of the Lucid Body with Céline Nogueira’s sensory exploration. This work seeks to cultivate mindful and compassionate contact, while fostering awareness around the dynamics of (non)-consent — both on stage and in everyday life.
The Cie works hand in hand with certified Lucid Body teacher Kady Duffy based in Annecy.
