The Art of Emancipation – outreach program

Promoting gender equality, preventing sexism and sexual violences, gender stereotypes, harassment, and discrimination.

With an artistic, academic and activist approach, Céline Nogueira, author, director and acting coach, builds and stands up for a creative act and a pedagogy which are synonymous with emancipation and empowerment.

Inspired by the works of Stella Adler and Rita Laura Segato, Céline Nogueira has been building a pedagogy for emancipation using tools and exercises from theatre, dance and somatic practices for school and business audiences.

The outreach program My body, my territory ! is 3 times winner of calls for projects from the City of Toulouse to Reduce sexist and sexual violence against girls and young women, to deconstruct gender stereotypes through sport practice, to fight discriminations, racism, anti-Semitism, LGBTQ-phobia, and to promote cultural diversity.
