"These productions were not merely performances; they were transformative journeys that have marked me deeply.
Through Céline’s encouragement and guidance, I have begun to discover something of my creative potential.
She constantly encourages me to explore new perspectives, to go beyond the limits of my vulnerability,
and to strive for excellence on and off the stage."

Since 2009, Céline Nogueira has directed 12 plays in English, Portuguese and Sign language with the students at the Toulouse Jean-Jaurès University- for the Theatre Festival Universcènes.

With limited technical support and time, she develops a rigorous methodology, great compliance and inventiveness to overstep all normal bounds using all available means to meet her artistic priorities. These projects made her create homogeneous ensembles where all individualities would shine turning her attention towards uplifting individual stakes welcoming personal & cultural sensitivities.

With the portuguese-speaking company Brastugas, Céline Nogueira has directed “Todos o Nenhum” written by Joao Menino Vargas

During 6 months students are professionnally trained and led to act in a play from the english-speaking repertoire.

Shows : Théâtre Les Mazades, La Fabrique, Théâtre Sorano, Mac Chapou (Toulouse), La Gare aux Artistes (Montrabé), Ritu (Liège, Belgium), Fitut (Tanger, Morroco).

“Céline’s directing has nurtured my journey toward emancipation of the mind, body and spirit.
Her keen eye for detail, akin to that of an eagle, has inspired me to cultivate a similar level of
attention. Under her wing, what began as a simple curiosity has since incubated, hatched, and
taken flight, evolving into a way of life both on and off the stage. For that, I am truly grateful.”
