Stella Adler Studio of Acting New York

Céline Nogueira is the perfect partner for us. She is a wonderful actress with a very broad understanding of performance, a strong director and theater maker, and a very capable thinker and writer about theater and drama.” – Tom Oppenheim, director of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York

Céline Nogueira has started importing the techniques of Stella Adler in France, back in 2002 after completing her training at the Stella Adler Studio in New York.

Her encounter with acting coach Ron Burrus, close collaborator of Stella Adler, marked a decisive turning point in her approach to acting and theatricality as it set the foundations of the method she has been developing since as an Art of Emancipation for all audiences.

Not only did she translate the specific vocabulary and definitions, but she also passes on the philosophy and the very art of life which is at the core of the tools, the exercices and the techniques.

Since 2010, Innocentia Inviolata has partnered with the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York to develop and promote acting techniques through The Stella Adler Center for International Theater Studies and Exchange: I-Center. The Company has received Ron Burrus for 3 original intensive workshops (Paris & Toulouse) led hand in hand with Céline Nogueira, and aimed at cinema and theatre practices.

Besides her weekly and monthly training-events, she has been transmitting the techniques and her own organic approach through classes, workshops, master classes and conferences at La Cinémathèque Toulouse, Théâtre La Cité, Conservatoire d’Art Dramatique de Toulouse, Centre chorégraphique James Carlès, Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès, L’Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour , La Scène Nationale d’ALBI-Tarn, Théâtre Le Ring, HEC Paris, Inspe La Sorbonne.

Along with her work in France, she has been teaching and directing  movement projects at Stella Adler Studio of New York with the 3rd year students of the New York University.

Incorporating inputs from different cultures bringing together movement, yoga, voice, sensorial exploration and writing to create a specific approach and understanding of the techniques.
